It works correctly some times and other times I need to launch the app directly. I haven't been able to figure out a pattern yet.

I don't have this problem...
Only problem I have come to with Viber app that flashbar service force close sometime so I clear this system app ....and delete Viber and reinstall again and now works without problems:thumbup:

Is there any way to flash the stock kernel instead of the ajk one?

Yes, but you will lose CWM if you do. Unless you have a s959g of course. I have a flashable zip version of the stock kernel if you want it. You will just have to wait until tonite when I can upload it though.

I also had flashbar serv FC couple times. Same scenario each time.

-Listening to music player
-Headphones in
-Phone call comes in

Any suggestions on a program to use for editing .IMG files? I'm trying to find the recovery for my phone. I've pulled the system.img after hours of tinkering. I've seen a lot of programs on the web but some of them I just don't trust.

DiskInternals LinuxReader. It is also included in android kitchen. You can mount the images to access the files inside. You need to pull the .pit file to find the partition layout.

Are trying to find it on your new phone??? If so let's continue this in pm, or at least the s959g thread.
