Can faster CPU chips get away with lower volts?
I guess my title says it all. I can get away with like 750 maybe at the two lowest volts for ktoonz but 775 for sure and pretty gradually work up to about 1150 at 1512 and the lowest I can take 1890 is about 1260...i guess that's some background info..
Side question, can undervolting create lag? One kernel I used with similar voltage to what I used with ktoonz lagged like crazy but ended up being okay later, kind of strange actually. I know it causes reboots but never experienced lag, extreme lag like it would take like 5 seconds to respond..
Meh, ktoonz finally got around to catering to 4.3 and I'm back to sub 800 without lag...k I'm done rambling. I guess all that needs to be said is yes or no.
