[Q] HTC One S persistent bootloop Noob-Screwed
I tried to do things by myself with searching but it gets worse and worse, so I need your kind help here.
Problem : my phone got in bootloop out of nothing
. and it's still like that.
At bootloader, nothing helped me. It was showing :
VLE PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
Dec 14 2012, 17:10:57:-1
things I tried :
1. with From HTC Dev I made it UNLOCKED > success
2. I tried a couple of recoveries, many times, twrp-2.3.3.-ville, twrp-184.108.40.206-ville, clockwork-220.127.116.11-ville so on > fail
none got me into a recovery screen, some showed me HTC opening screen with 'this is for development puposes only ..' but then, bootloop with normal HTC screen
3. I downloaded Hasoon's all in one tool kit. With the tool :
I erased the cache > success (before; with the bootloader, it was going to bootloop)
reboot the phone > success (then goes to bootloop)
APK installer/Data Backup > fail (i still want to save my numbers and photos)
4. I tried to Flash Factory RUU.zip. with the Toolkit. It got to the gray HTC logo on black screen but I realized I don't have the RUU.zip
I looked everywhere but couldn't find anything relevant, matching radio numbers, or with HBOOT or CID numbers. And I read guys totally bricked with the wrong RUU and I got scared, and unplugged the phone.
Now phone is still in bootloop, and bootloader screen shows like above but UNLOCKED.
Now, can I still recover the phone with my data in it ? Or is there still a way I can back it up ?
Is it too late or was impossible from the beginning ?
And how can I recover my phone keeping the S-OFF status ? (read somewhere, this is sth valuable)
I have done these in 2 sessions, starting with 0 knowledge, but I gave up now.
Many Thanks !
