if your digitizer is broken like mine ( see attached photo) you'll need to know which type it is, in order to purchase the appropriate type from two existing.
i got the instructions from a local repair service how to determine if hd2 digitizer is soldering or connector type :
- remove battery cover of your HD2
- press simultaneously the small red reset button (need a thin pin) and the volume control down). keep it until a service sreen appears.
- there you will see 4 lines of text, including either:
0x50 it means your hd2 is having touch screen with connector type
or if you read
0x30 it means your hd2 is soldering type.
