Sensibly integrated, it's a useful feature anyway. Google Maps, for example, could be made to automatically rotate the map so that you're looking in the same direction along the map as you are along the ground. (I've no idea if Google Maps actually does this, but in principle it could). That's quite handy if you're trying to navigate through a bit of countryside with no street names.

That's fair enough. I'm a city man myself (or at least I am right now).

I've not had a reply from the guy who claims he has one, when i asked what version of the rom he has, as he can't see the app.. but the latest 2 rom version have a totally new, not seen before, NOT test app digital compass.. This is written in LUA.. Its new, it's not something that's been on other devices. alas it doesn't seem to work on existing hardware (I've not got a leo to test with). What the app does is allow you set a destination, then the compass points in that direction, based on where you are and your heading.. this is as far as I've gleaned from playing with it.. the odd thing is I dont think it's based on accelerometer, as it will pick up your position pretty well.. it just doesn't move, so I guess it needs the hardware in the LEO, the distance to destination does work however.. So I guess i could play a long range version of blind mans bluff with it :P This is what it looks like on my own rom on the HD

Leo seems to have 256MB+ yes, but only 512MB internal flash, not the required 1G+, and I have no idea if those 512 MB are fast enough. If that flash is fast enough, then it might be OK provided extra memory on microSD card can be counted towards the required 1G+.
What are the Days of Use LTK requirements? Does anyone know? I'm not sure Leo will measure up to this though. The battery times I've seen for Leo seems OK, but I doubt it's enough for the WinMo7 requirements. |

This concerns me a little as well - although full screen video etc has been tested and seems to work fine. Perhaps it is due to the test device using beta software..?
