If you are experiencing some of annoying LAG on your G2,here is how to get LAG away (works with my G2) :

1. Enter the following based on your device model:
  • 3845#*800# (for At&T model)
  • 3845#*801# (for T-Mobile variants)
  • 3845#*802# (for European variants, same as International :) for those who do not understand :) )
  • 3845#*803# (for AT&T and Canadian variants)

2. Scroll down to High Temperature Property OFF,and select
3. Turn it ON...
4. Turn G2 fully off...
5. Wait at least 10sec...
6. Turn it back on and wait about 30sec. when Screen Lock shows...

LAG-FREE G2  :good:

And of course you can buy me a RED BULL :)

"NOTE" I am not responsible for any damage made to your phone!

If you activate it will get right clock speed according to CPU temp. If CPU gets too hot it will lower CPU,so that CPU can get cooler and run smoothly! If your CPU gets too hot it can start to LAG on your system. I don't know why people force off it on E98x LG G Pro...???!!!
Principle is the same on CPU in phone as in computer/laptop. You all know that If CPU gets too hot or not cooled down enough it will get LAGY and start to throttle the system!

here's what i did. i don't have this option in my hidden menu because i'm on verizon but i'm rooted. i used trickster mod to change my kernel governor settings to interactive instead of ondemand, like how i always have it on my phones. all microstutter is gone with no adverse side effects, eg. battery drain, phone running hot, etc. from what people are saying in this thread, it sounds like i'm getting the exact same benefits, albeit with root.

you can edit build.prop for example. add

    persist.sys.high_temp_off=true

    or run

    setprop persist.sys.high_temp_off true

    in terminal emulator.

I appreciate this, especially now that I can access the hidden service menu.

Do not do anything that you don't know what is it for!!!
