A month ago I was able to sign to the Market and almost instantaneously downloading the apps. My point is that a month ago I was doing all that stuff. Can you suggest a decent build (please include download link if possible) with fast wifi and calls. I don't care about the camera or gps and e.t.c. If the wifi and respectively Market isn't working I really don't know why should one bother switching to android? Share your experience
I am using the Google-Ion-2009-09-12 build, with the included base files; (except for trhe new camera zImage), and wifi only takes 3-4 seconds to connect; and when it does, download is instant. You can find the link on page 807, post 8063 (linked below):

Anyone tried ShopSavvy with the newly working camera? I attempted it, but since autofocus isn't working yet, it doesn't seem to work. One (major!) step closer though! Keep up the exemplary work dzo!

Older Google builds did not have this problem.

I can boot into Android just fine, but when I try to move around or press any button everything is opposite. Bizzaro world. Up is down, down is up, and buttons are changed from what they should be. I can not even try to calibrate said screen.

It seems like my keymapping is wrong, and I am not sure how to fix it.

Is there a guide on how to setup the Android? I'm use to dragging the files to my memory card. I want to see the Camera working.

ShopSavvy won't work till we fix the autofocus but try SnapTell, it's much more impressive and should work fine.

DONATE TO ME
I've put up a new kernel with some changes to power management, it works very well for me but to get good battery life you also need to do the following:

Make sure you are using the correct panel type in defaut.txt (not 0).
Disable sync and background data.
Switch off wifi before putting the device to sleep.

When in power collapse (deep sleep) the right led should flash green and only the power key will wake the device. If this doesn't happen, then something is wrong and you possibly have something installed that is keeping the device awake.

Get the new zImage from the google code site.

I can confirm this works but you must use all the base files from 09-12 otherwise it won't work, i tried to mix it up but that won't work so to reiterate. 09-12 base files and 10-09 zImage = stable working ROM w camera working
