Hey again.

TL;DR: Fast, slim and features.

If you (and others) request a feature, then I will gladly try to implement it into this ROM.

Features:
  • Latest SlimRoms features
  • Clear all recents button
  • HALO
  • Active Display
  • Custom system animations
  • RAM bar
  • Sliding Mms app
  • Network stats
  • Network stats colors
  • Network stats hiding if no traffic
  • Removed a bunch of apps, if there's something missing you want, tell me
  • Check commits for more detail
  • // more coming soon enough


Installation:

  • If coming from previous build (possibly SlimKat too):
    • Wipe Cache, dalvik cache
    • Flash rom
    • Flash gapps (unless 0-day gapps)
  • Else:
    • Wipe Data/factory reset
    • Wipe Cache, dalvik cache
    • Flash rom
    • Flash gapps

this is based off slimkat(11/09/13) right? so it doesnt have all the features from 4.3?

this isn't based off a particular dated build, as the commits kind of roll in.
but essentially you're correct.

slimroms is hacking away at the features list, slowly but surely.
so this rom will stay with those commits definitely.

I think both of those features were in slimbean.
so they may be merging them in eventually.

if that's not true, then if you could point me towards a rom ((repo)) that has it integrated, that would be awesome.

Rastakat has it. Also, anyway to port the n5 business dialer into AOSP?

But the phone app has the business dialer...?
Isn't it from aosp?

It doesn't. You can't type a business name into the dialer and have it pull results from maps. The AOSP dialer only searches what's in contacts. The n5 dialer will use maps to find the business and show it in the dialer as a result as if it were in your contacts.

    Since I know you're busy, I can help you make some builds on an almost nightly basis. I add in some cherry-picks that I like from multiple sources, like CM and OmniRom. I could post in here, since I don't want to clutter the Slim thread

    also, I don't want to make a new thread, because most of the sources is from you :)

    the cherry-picks are from CM source and one of them is from OmniROM. it is based off of OP's source

    I will try to build each time Slim updates their github. If @swiggins is ok with it, I will post my builds here. if not, then I can PM you and whoever wants it
