Still doesn't work? Awful. I tried 2.6.3.1 on gnex and that didn't work either. Haven't tried on One yet. Thanks for saving me the time.

FYI -- I successfully flashed FTL's CM11 version using 2.6.3.2, and then flashed TeamSeven's v52 kernel atop the ROM. Can't live without L2M;)

Yeah I think it was the Rom. I'm not using ftl, but I flashed TWRP again and flashed the kernel just fine. I still have to try ftl later since the other cm unofficial is running alright and I'm out and about. I'll try ftl later and report, but almost everyone had said it works.

Thanks for nothing.

Get the latest version of TWRP (version 2.6.3.2), reportedly compatible with KK 4.4, for your m7 from here:

http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/164

For my fellow noobs: Under settings on my m7, i made sure USB debugging was checked, then connected it to my computer. Using my computer, I copied the downloaded file (openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.2-m7.img) to the SDK's platform tools subdirectory, and opened a cmd window in that subdirectory, typed adb reboot-bootloader and after it rebooted into bootloader, typed fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.2-m7.img
If you're wondering what SDK platform tools are, you have no business here.
Just kidding -- look at this:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/bundle.html

Good Luck!
EDIT: Although I've updated to 2.6.3.2, TWRP still failed to flash two KK4.4 ROMS on my m7; others have posted that 2.6.3.2 did work on their phone, and I did get one to work so far

Works great but could not find the change log

No.
But I got error too like others when I want to flash CM11 with TWRP 2.6.3.2 :(

Edit:

Unable to flash CM10.2 zip with 2.6.3.2, going back to 2.6.3.0

Successfully flashed 2.6.3.3 from recovery using the flashable zip that gianton provided several posts up.

Then used 2.6.3.3 to flash mightybear's kk version. Flashed ROM without any problems.

Flashing 2.6.3.3 is not the problem...
Flashing a rom WITH 2.6.3.2 or 2.6.3.3 is the problem...

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

    CHANGELOG for 3.0.0-0:

-Completely new theme - Much more modern and much nicer looking (by z31s1g)
-True Terminal Emulator - Includes arrow keys, tab and tab completion, etc. (by _that)
-Language translation - It won’t be perfect and especially some languages that require large font files like Chinese & Japanese won’t be availble on most devices. Also some languages may only be partially translated at this time. Feel free to submit more translations to OmniROM’s Gerrit. (mostly by Dees_Troy)
-Flashing of sparse images - On select devices you will be able to flash some parts of factory images via the TWRP GUI (by HashBang173)
-Adopted storage support for select devices - TWRP can now decrypt adopted storage partitions from Marshmallow
-Reworked graphics to bring us more up to date with AOSP - includes support for adf and drm graphics (by Dees_Troy)
-SuperSU prompt will no longer display if a Marshmallow ROM is installed
-Update exfat, exfat fuse, dosfstools (by mdmower)
    -Update AOSP base to 6.0
-A huge laundry list of other minor fixes and tweaks

    Hi,
Can I ask what's the best way to reset permissions of backups using version 2.6?

I tried this command on my 4.1.2 stock rom:
    adb shell chmod -R 777 /data/media/TWRP

but received this: "Operation not permitted"

Root explorer won't do it either.

    Thanks.
Do you have ROOT? I think that on stock rom without root you can't execute this command.
If you have root, then try to execute:
    Code:
    adb shell
    Code:
    su
    for 4.1.2 rom:
    Code:
    chmod -R 777 /data/media/TWRP
    or for 4.2.2 rom:
    Code:
    chmod -R 777 /data/media/0/TWRP
    Code:
    exit
    Code:
    exit

New TWRP 2.6.3.0 is out. I attached a flashable zip.

    What's new in 2.6.3.0:

    • Proper backup and restore of SELinux contexts (thanks to Tassadar)
    • Pull in some ROM information for backup name generation
    • Merge all recent patches from AOSP bringing TWRP up to date with Android 4.3
    • Add 1200x1920 theme (thanks to Tassadar)
    • A few other fixes and tweaks
