Question I9505 O2 4.2.2 to 4.3 BTU failed and unable to recover

Today I tried updating my Samsung S4 i9505 from O2 4.2.2 to 4.3 BTU.

I used Odin and it failed miserably. The error I keep getting is:

Now when I swtich the phone on I get the following message:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"

Can anyone suggest how I can get this restored back. Everything I do seems to be failing.

Many Thanks

I recently had the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue ...." message after a messed up FW upgrade.
I couldn't do anything with the phone to fix it (different computers, cables, USB ports etc).

I eventually contacted Samsung, they advised me to visit my nearest "Geek Squad" service centre (located in some Car Phone Warehouse shops in the UK).
They reset the phone for 10 (or they'll do it for free if you wait 40 hours). Why 40 hours ? I don't know.

Kies, is F'ing useless. You won't fix it using that.
After the phone was fixed, I tried Kies again (to do the recovery as a test) and got a message saying my phone couldn't initialised or words to that effect.

Good luck.
