You could unzip and then copy all the system files over. Just make sure you fix permissions to (rw-r--r--)

So just to clarify move all system files to system/app. Should I fix permissions before moving.....TIA

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

upon extracting system folders should i move sub folders them selves or just app in side extracted folders

You'll need to push each file to the same directory/subdirectory in system that it is in in the zip. Once its there change the permissions.

Got it thanks. Wasn't able to get it working but was able to move all files no issue

Are you sure you moved all the files and into the proper directories with fixing permissions? Reboot the phone after?
Or are you on a Stock (Odexed) Rom? This is for Deodexed.

@ Redflea has confirmed it working on Verizon [ROM][TW4.3]STOCK-ROOTED-MJ7-AROMA-LOKI'd

Delete. Sorry just noticed this is for gs4. Need note 2. Happy Thanksgiving.

I use TWRP. Easy to switch.
Didnt get a chance to edit the update-binary to auto fix permissions. Not sure if you need to but put it there to be safe. You can alway check the modded files and make sure they are all (rw-r--r--)

Is there any chance this will ever be available for phones running 4.3 with the stock odexed rom rooted?

Thanks.

Yes its been reported to work on Odexed too. Read the last line of the OP.

Thanks. As soon as this Nandroid is done I'll give it a go.

*edit after zip install*

Seems to cause Android to go through the "Android is upgrading..." process on each reboot and also seems to have broken Wifi... Editing this in build.prop fixed the wifi issue:
From: ro.securestorage.support=true

to: ro.securestorage.support=false

Yes. I have removed the link in the OP.

After HOURS of work to make this fix (when no one else could), I immediately shared it online to give back to the community.

    That said....

It's been available for 5 weeks now
    3 different forums (AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon)
Downloaded OVER 2000+ times and used by these users weekly if not every day.

    And yet.....

ONLY 29 people combined (out of over 2000) had the courtesy to even click the thanks button?!?!?!
Not to mention NOT even a single (although NOT expected) donation!

Not in any way looking to capitalize on this and I am all about helping and sharing, but do the math.... A little gratitude of showing your appreciation by a tiny donation or a simple CLICK of a thanks button seems to be too hard for a MOD (to me at least) is the next best thing this phone can do next to make phone calls!

Ive asked a moderator to lock the thread until further notice.

Cannot run roms. I took dang ota so not sure what I have. I'm completely stock

Yeah..... thats your problem. Youre on Verizons new bootloader and stock odex.
This wont work for you until youre able to put a custom ROM on there.
