Default [Q] How to

Hi All,

I'm using Sony Ericsson Live with walkman. I'm very new to terms Root, unlock bootloader and all. But I would like customize the os.
Could someone help what is rooting and bootloading etc?
I've seen somewhere people saying i used different ROMs..Please let me know different types of ROMS and how to install those..i'm planning to try one..
which should be done first either rooting or unlocking bootloader ?

Thanks in Advance..

You should use the search here on xda or search on Google there are many guides that explain rooting etc

If you are new to this I'd advise you to root first and install a stock based rom. If you want to have a rom running Jelly Bean, unlock the bootloader then, but remember unlocking the bootloader will void your warranty!

If u are planning on unlocking on your bootloader, better backup ur TA partition first if u are still under warranty. For rooting, u can use doomlord's rooting kit.
