Please tell me how to root galaxy s i9000 GB 2.3.6 DDJVB.

use framaroot app from here

CM 10 is Jelly Bean, so you need to read the guide about it ,you can learn more by reading the guide fully. But to answer your question, you need CWM ( clockworkMod) and for that you need to flash a semaphore gingerbread kernel ,. Had written about it , where you found the link for the framaroot app. only rooting you use the app, if you want root and CWM, you flash the semaphore GB kernel

after that you flash CM 9 (ICS first) just boot it once than flash CM 10 ( Jelly Bean) Clearly explained on that guide.
