Default [Q] New there! Few question for you!

Hi there,

I'm a brand new Lumia owner, and generally microsoft.

I bought an ATT Lumia 1020, RM-877, I'm waiting for my unlock code

I've a couple of questions:
  1. Should I remove the film from the camera len?
  2. Which firmware is the best/more updated?

I'm asking the first one because in all my phones (I had a lot of care) the camera len usually gets some scratches easily.

For the second one, now I'm downloading the one for: 059T3M3 PWBASSY RM-877 LIGHT SWAP ENGINE GLOBAL

Hopefully is free of blotware of ATT... really how can Nokia/Microsoft permits carriers to add that crap?

Take the film off the lenses as you don't need it. The lenses is covered with gorilla glass and would be very hard to scratch. Also the cover could distort the picks you take.

Please tell me .. where and/or how did you manage to get an unlock code. I was even willing to pay for one. I think AT&T wants me to double the cost of my cell phone bill and sign up with them.

It's kinda complicated, if you are not a previous customer best way is buy a gophone sim, and thus do that online.
