When it says its installing all the files all the files are coming up red and saying fail unable to install or not able to locate the directory or cache or something then when I try to reboot all i get is the samsung screen with a picture of a open padlock then the samsung galaxy s3 screen then nothing else it stops there.

When what says installing files?
Are you trying to root or flash something in recovery?

All that you really need to do is flash the firmware file on PDA via odin. After that you'll be completely stock.

After downloading it, unzip it and load the .tar.md5 file on PDA in odin. Put your phone in Download mode. Connect it to your computer. Click start and don't touch it until it is finished.
