When you set up the SD card, in Windows, make sure to use win32diskimager.

Next, I would advise that you take out the battery, put the SD card in, and then put the battery in.

At that point, the phone should boot by itself within 15 - 30 seconds. If not, try getting it into download mode (Home + Volume Down + Power for about 15 seconds).

If it doesn't boot, rewrite the debrick image and keep trying.

I also found this to be a huge help. Just make sure to use the T999 4.3 debrick image.
I did everything, the only type of response is the camera flash flashes once but the phone doesn't boot

Does your SD card memory match the S3 memory (if your S3 is a 16GB, then you need a 16GB SD card; S3 32GB, need 32GB SD card)?

They have to match or else the SD card method won't work.

Yes it all matches and it's a class 10 sd with a 16gb s3

Keep trying. Did you attempt to get it into download mode after you put the SD card in? I don't think my phone booted by itself when I put my SD card in.

This video walks you through the whole process (and it even comes with clear written instructions, just use the T999 debrick image).

Does it's matter if I connect the sd card with the sd slot on my laptop or do I need a USB micro sd reader

I had a micro SD card to SD card adapter and I put the adapter into the SD slot in my laptop.

As long as the SD card is connected to the computer in some way, it shouldn't matter.
