Default Camera Broken on Nexus 5 on new 12/6/13 nightly build

I just installed the latest nightly (12/6/13) for my nexus 5 and whenever I launch camera it launches, but there is only black everywhere. Anyone got a fix?

Probably something to do with the release of 4.4.1 sources. Wouldn't have thought it would have made it into the nightlies already, but who knows. In any event, you'll need to wait for the new blobs from the factory image, and most likely an updated camera.apk.

Probably camera blobs need updating for 4.4.1 - Nearly all sources were updated to 4.4.1 last night but it appears that no one has updated blobs yet.

Interestingly, the symptoms you describe sound like the current state of flo which I was planning on working on this weekend anyway.

Edit: Blobs were updated early this morning, so next nightly should be fixed.

Does this mean we don't need an updated camera.apk to take advantage of the new camera enhancements?

I don't know if it is just in my head or not, but the camera is great now!
