Default [Q] kernel

Hey! I've got a question. Is it possible to brick phone using broken kernel(for another device etc.)? And If yes can I use fastboot boot boot.img to brick phone only for single boot?

I have done kernel for Sense 4+. And I'm worried about my One V. Is it safe?
