Default Updating Software

Hello all I am using an ATT I717 unkocked on T-Mobile but it is on 2.3.6. I cant run OTA because it gives an error. Is there a way to OTA to the latest version or do I have to flash a rom??

You can only take OTA updates if your phone is stock.

Thank you guys for the responses but I flashed CM11 yesterday to bring it up to current. I don't know how or if I can close this thread.
