Default Need to get back to stock 100%, may have softbricked?

Hello,

I've been doing the runarounds all day with my Note II. I've been around the block a few times so I'm comfortable using ADB/Odin and the like. I have the pro version of the Note II toolkit.

I'll spare all of the details, but for now I'm able to get a booted ROM, custom or stock recovery. In TWRP, i get a message "E:Unable to mount '/preload'

Is this something I can ignore? Or do I need to get a good Odin & PIT file (I have one) and reflash/repartition my device?

Thanks

Perfect, that's what I suspected, but I'm trying to start from vanilla scratch ATM.

Thanks for your prompt reply =]

Vanilla stock? Guesding from your title that would be touchwiz 4.1.2 unrooted stock recovery. I use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=36388145. After flashing a few wierd things will happen but this is normal. Once it boots up you will have 100% stock mc2 phone just like it was new. Hope it helps.

Yes I frequently use that as well =]

I just had a bundle of very strange things happen today while flashing the MK4 update from platty. My Play store disappeared, literally poofed, not installed, and that started a long string of "first-timers". I decided to just go back to the beginning instead of trying to fix whatever happened. In the process I softbricked, but I'm up and running again.

Thanks for your help.
