Default Phone turns off at 4% battery

it's been a week now since i had this problem,

roughly about a week ago i experienced the phone shutting down at 4 percent battery remaining.

My z1 turns off after about a minute after system alert saying the phone has 5 percent battery left,

and red LED flashed trice when i tried to turn it back on; which means it's out of juice.

since then i've never seen 0%~3% on my phone lol it always shuts off at 4%.

anyone have similar experience or problem?

my z1 isn't rooted and runs everything stock!

try re-calibrating your battery
Previous phones: Sony Ericsson K750i, Sony Ericsson W810i, IPhone 2G, Nokia x3-02, Sony Xperia P

Sony Xperia Z1(C6903)
ROM: Stock ☐ Custom ☑
Bootloader: Locked ☑ Unlocked ☐
Rooted: Yes ☑ No ☐

I've never done it myself actually so I don't know but I've heard it helps. Google it up or something
