Question [Q] Camera quality stock Sense VS AOSP/CM...

I'm thinking to flash AOSP or any other ROM to get 4.3 and eventually 4.4 (I hope).

Has anyone did any tests comparing the camera quality on the Android Stock roms VS original HTC Sense roms?

Is the special camera chip still active?
Is it fast as the original Sense?

I'm trying to examine the ups and downs of moving from original Sense roms to something more close to stock.

Aosp doesn't use the hox imaging chip so pictures are worse than sense.

That's bad
One of the reasons people bought One X was because of the image quality.

I've found some comparison pictures.
They are definitely better on Sense ROM:

also auto focus on videos was ery bad when i last used CM.

i would stick to sense, if you want a light rom then you can use blade or use rom cleaner on any rom you like, it will strip out as much of sense as possible without breaking the framework
