System Settings -> Tethering & Neworks -> Mobile Networks -> Network Modes

Took me like 30 seconds...

The options I have on my T-Mobile phone are:
GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto
GSM/WCDMA auto
WCDMA only
GSM only

Doesn't look like anything is missing to me...
LG - D801 | G2
SGH-I747 | Galaxy S III <- Gorilla glass why u no impact resistant!?
SGH-I897 | Captivate <- It just won't die. Running Kit Kat on 512MB!
SGH-T919 | Behold <- The great pretender. Original Touchwiz...
SGH-E720 | <- The great flipper...
SGH-N105 | <- Keyboard cover, yo, keyboard cover!
Nokia 8290 | <- The plastic fantastic, you gots to sqeeze it to sees it!

dont lie u had to figure out longer once u received phone .. bcos it is not standard it is always airplane wifi bluetooth and mobile networks and all is there usualy on android smartphones ! but lg has to do it differently like -> wifi bluetooth mobile data Call? why call option there .?
and there is bottom tethering & settings .. and it needs to be digging even deeper going to mobile networks .. horrible where's shortcut for mobile networks ?
I bet u didnt know for first time ! it is NOT straight access !!

So i have option but NOT that first : GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto
I have only :

GSM/WCDMA auto
WCDMA only
GSM only

Not really, never even thought about disabling LTE before I read your post, but I had found Tab/List view feature for the System Settings after I started monkeying around with phone, got it on Monday BTW...

When you have the System Settings open, tap the menu button to select between list and tab views. I like list because it puts most things in order similar to my ol' Samsung phones.
