Before Asking Any question Please Read Below Content First:
You don't have to uninstall anything.
Just install the Maps 6 Version what you prefer.
Both Maps (6&7) runs together on your device
6.14.1 log in won't work.
6.14.4 log in Works But without worldwide navigation MOD. 6.14.4 Navigation Works in supported Countries
**You CAN Use 6.14.1 without log in.and yes, you can skip the sign in part.**
you can't save places in 6.14.1 but you can do that in 6.14.4
If you have problems with login on 6.14.4 read buell47 Posts
Yes, These older maps Work on ALL unrooted and Rooted Devices (Same)

6.14.1 unlocked means:
navigation works in unsupported countries(ALL countries)
6.14.4: (locked default version):
navigation only works in supported countries (googles choice)
----------- according to this post from my friend GNU:
