Default No Rom/kernal Will Allow More Then a Days Usuage??

So i love my xperia arc s, i really do. unforunatly its got a one way ticket to the trash if this stupid problem persists!!

So i never used to have a problem with my batterydrain it used to be fine, but something happed about 8 months ago?

I can berely get a full day out of my arc s! , ive tried countless amounts of roms with corrisponding kernals, flashed various bb's, wiped batterystats, turned off everything (gps, bluetooth, sync, data, wifi etc) brought a new battery, froze my battery, kicked my battery, biffed my battery into the distance. nothing works.

Better battery stats shows everything fine exept one thing that smells fishy, it always has 'no or unknown signal' and 'no data conection' displaying as a huge wake lock i think? although i always have good reception? any ideas?

The only thing i can think of (and ive rung my carrier and they said it shoudnt be an issue) is i changed my prepaid plan to one that lets me ring and text people for free in australia (i live in new zealand).

I duno guys help a brother out.

Sound like hardware is malfunctioning. Somewhere along the line. Sorry to hear of these troubles.

Should be hardware related, possibly a malfunction with the battery management component.

That is not a wake lock (although it is weird) go into BBS > Kernel/partial wakelock (second/third) options. You will need to allow BBS to get root access before you can view your partial wakelocks.

bad news boys and girls. Xperia arc s stopped charging. apparently theres a recent fix for it, too darn bad i walked in to my local phones retailer and they some how conned me in to $69 per month contract for a brand spanking LG G2! must admit its a dope phone, not as slim and sexy as my beloved arc s

anyways, might fix it at a later date, give it to the misses her phones a piece of crap samung thing.
