Default [Q] 4.4.1 KitKat AOSP source for Xperia S

Hey guys
Don't know if you'd had heard this "news" :
http://www.androidauthority.com/sony...kitkat-324270/

So I'm wondering what exactly can we expect from it?
Is it like an unofficial nexus rom but not from CM?
I searched the development section but only saw the CM series, no AOSP ones.
What does this project brings us?

Sorry if this question is too noob but I'm quite excited

Read the forum before posting. It doesn't give us anything, that is just badly written article.

But I do see S on the dev page:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/know...peria-devices/

If it means nothing that would be really disappointed... ;-I

If you look at the repo, you will find that it was last updated months ago.
The aosp 4.4 is only for xperia L. Many websites misinterpreted it for aosp for all devices. So, the answer is no, nothing for XS.
