Default [dev][help][partition identify]

hi guys, I'm in need of information of each of my individual blocks.

of course all know how to

Code:
cat proc/emmc
and this will list named partitions such as boot, recovery, system, fat, etc, etc.

I am asking for help on how to identify the unnamed blocks. particularly Hboot, sp1, and so on.

I know there are super genius devs that support this device that have already done the countless hours of work that may have been needed to accomplish this output, and that is why I'm asking inside as sub-forum besides my own device's.

a PM or thread reply would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

alright, great!

I've been reading and re reading that thread for the past 3 days, I attempted to install the sdparted.zip through recovery but it fails.

I've used gdisk and sgdisk like instructed via that thread

gdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk0

and yes it gives me cylinders and all, but not names of each block, maybe my commands are wrong?

it looks like the parted binary would suffice the info I'm looking for but in the zip there's a symlink.sh that I'm not sure how to execute if I were to unzip and push the binaries inside.
