Question Where is the orientation sensor?

Mine seems to be borked. Tried several roms (gb, ics, jb) to no avail. Wondering if I can replace one of the boards, or its more complicated, or easily fixable..

Use z device test to check them, if I remember correct it is on flex cable by ear speaker and proximity sensor but off hand can't recall, so replacing the main flex would fix ya up... But I'll get back to you if I remember differently.

No luck on the sensor(s). Will try taking the phone apart to see if there is anything visible.
