Getting a rom to flash

You said you couldn't get Intl recovery to update twrp. Download 2.6.3.3, go into recovery and flash that zip. It will update your twrp and you'll have no issues flashing 4.4 ROMs.

I don't suggest using 2.6.3.4 because people have reported issues with it.

If you can't just flash the 2.6.3.3 zip, then I have no idea what to suggest. I installed twrp by pushing it from my computer and was able to update with no issues. You will not be able to flash 4.4 ROMs with anything less than 2.6.3.3

Ah, I must have missed the bit about you taking the OTA. I was wondering if after taking it, whether there was a root/recovery method.
