Default Slide Meter

This tool provides a way to measure the dimensions of near objects similar to classical meters. This is done by moving along the object's side you want to measure its length while holding the Hold button (e.g. measuring the width of a door, a carpet or a bed).
To make more accurate measures, you can select the average check box which displays the mean of more than one measure of the dimension

Please, i need to review this app.. you can find it on Google Play

Here is a video about using it:

Nice concept but tried it on my Huawei premia 4g (stock, rooted ics 4.0.4) and it doesn't work. Holding the button doesn't seem to activate anything. I will test it in a couple of other devices and report back.

Could you please add the apk to the OP? This way people with no market access can download it as well. Thank you.

Edit: also, you have the wrong YouTube link up here.

you need to hold the button while you are moving along the edge of the object you are measuring and then release the button once stopped. if anything went wrong and the internal algorithm found the result is not accurate, a two-beeps buzz should be heard indicating this.

Just so you know, I installed it again a few times on the device but no luck. I also installed it on a Xperia Z Ultra GPE, running 4.4.2 and got the same result.
