I read somewhere that if you rooted using a custom recovery, you cant do the OTAupdates as you need the stock one. Heres how I rooted my phone: http://theunlockr.com/2013/07/16/how...he-htc-one-sv/

I found a stock recovery for my phone and flashed it, downloaded the update and everything is fine thanks for all your help mate!!!

Does moonshine work with HBOOT 2.21 ?

I cannot S-OFF my HTC, OS - 4.2.2 HBOOT 2.21

@xpirt is right, you can't downgrade while S-On, you can only upgrade. I overlooked your previous post about you not being S-Off and basically didn't think clearly when I responded. But now that you are S-Off you can downgrade.

There is a lot of ways to downgrade your HBoot. Most prefer way is using a PL80IMG.zip with the android-info.txt and HBoot image inside it. Placing it on the root of external sdcard then booting in to the bootloader and following the instructions on the screen when it detects the zip. Afterwards, relocate or delete the zip when your OS boots back up again.

You can also use fastboot to flash the image as well. There are two ways to flash it in fastboot, but I would stick with the other method for now as you can apply this method for the boot.img, recovery.img, etc, etc, etc without the need of a pc.
