The CWM Recovery make backup from 5. Kernel (boot.img), system, data, cache and recovery. TWRP only 3? I never use this, not like it.

With TWRP the default setting is for backing up of 3 partitions, but if you select the other 3 which is 6 altogether EFS, Boot, Recovery, Cache, System, and Data it will then show backing up of 6 partitions then..as TWRP does work well also.
