all posters are correct its actually the sensor inside the battery that measure its temperature that is complaining when you try to take a pic. The cpu also has a thermometer but the colder a cpu the better it runs actually. Batteries cannot be too cool and also cannot be too hot. Not sure if you ever used the wifi tether for root user app back in the play store a while ago but it would show you your battery temp and as you tethered more and more the battery temp would go up. I'd also imagine the camera uses teh battery temp to assume the temp of the flash too.. if the bulb is too cold and flashes it could break.

A CPU CAN
be too cold.
But then we are talking about cryotech cooling systems that will cool the cpu several 100 degrees below zero. That would be so cold a cpu actually would not work because the electrons cant move or something like that(im not that technical too explain deeper).
Allso i have doubts when you say a battery cannot get too hot...?
