Default LTE to 3G

So im really not sure.. Baseically the m7 switches from lte to 3g after awhile and never switches back even on stock rom

Ive flashed stock and factory it, still didnt fix
Ive flashed original radios and rom, still nothing
Ive called verizon they have "refreshed" my connection.. Still no dice

Ive always gotten lte anywhere i went, just dont understand why its acting this way

Anything else to try?

I have been having the same issue. Did you get it resolved? I was thinking it was the sim card, was that the case?

Try turning off your data, turning on airplane mode, then turning data back on and turning off airplane mode. That normally works for me. It gets the phone to rescan for towers, and it switches back over to 4G.

If the new SIM works let me know, I might have to try that.

It could also just be a weak 4G signal. Notice how Verizon likes to brag about their coverage but not speed; that's because they put up a few antennas every few miles and run them at high power. The LTE network just isn't as dense as 3G, so you have these signal gaps everywhere where the phone is on the border line between 3G and 4G. AT&T and T-Mobile stomp all over Verizon's 4G where they have coverage.
