Default Is modem and build of a touchwiz rom important?

My modem is ddmg1, I recently saw omega rom v19 which is built on edmj9. if I flash roms which has modems other than mine cause problems such as loss of imei number or no signal or wifi problems? So only the ddedmj9 users are supposed to install that rom?

I am willing to give away a Thanks for a help. Please do help

In order to prevent imei loss back up the efs partition. you can google how to do that.
I'd just flash the appropriate modem, or try the rom with the one you're using.

Some people have reported that even after restoring efs partition and re flashing their modem , their imei number still remained 000000. I don't know what wrong they have done, but will it re store the imei number and signal?

If you backup the efs partition, you should be able to restore imei and everything else.
I've never heard of any case where this didn't work.
