It used to be the case that you could sideload settings.apk in order to get into Bluetooth and pair a device, like a keyboard or a speaker. I hear that this work-around broke with XE12, though.

Default Settings apk still works in EX12

I'm on EX12 and i have sideloaded the settings.apk to pair a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
What happens with this is that you Glass settings won't launch from the card you have to install Launchy to get to your glass settings.
It also shows a Settings crash at boot. So while there are two small bugs to me it is worth it to have a keyboard and mouse.
You can also run Launcher2.apk and with Launchy or Glass Launcher have the full android GUI which works well with a keyboard and mouse

There is also Bluetooth manager for glass
