Default [Q] 4.4 - Bluetooth Low Energy

Doses the Maxx/Ultra support BLE with the newest update?

And if so what's the affect on battery life having to keep Bluetooth on at all times?

I'm interested in buying COIN and the new Jawbone Up, both of which use BLE.

Yes, it does support BLE. My sister got the Fitbit Flex (http://www.fitbit.com/flex) for christmas, which does use BLE 4.0. I tested it out on my maxx and it worked perfectly with 4.4.

I leave Bluetooth on all the time. Its only connected while driving. Minimal impact on battery.

Kit Kat does drink more, although I cant say if Bluetooth is causing it.

I was getting 40 hours on 12.12.15 now abt 35 on KK.
