How much free space do you have on your Note 3 & is it reporting wrong storage sizes?

That is only reporting 28.13GB free space as the internal space... It would seem likely that it is simply not even seeing the reserved space as available at all.

It's starting to look like some Note 3's have 32 gigabytes, while others have 32 GB (billion bytes). Is that what we're seeing here?

I think the miscellaneous files is app data that had been added post install. When I clicked on it WhatsApp had 64mb of data which matched the memory used for the pictures held in the WhatsApp folder. Not sure if this is 100% correct but that's how it seems.

GB and GigaByte are the same thing..... GB is the official abbreviation of GigaByte.
