Unhappy Help! Can't get my phone WORKING any more after flashing

Hey guys,

I decided yesterday to upgrade my old Revolution HD to 41.0 to get 4.4 Kitkat, because I had 4.2.2 installed.

I had CWM before and a Custom Firmware RUU.

My phone with Sense Revoultion HD (older version):
unlocked
CID 11111111
PN0710000
S-off
HBoot-1.54.0000
OS-2.17.401.1

This were the steps i did to get to 4.4 Revolution HD 41. What was wrong?
  • -1)
First i tried to flash a new firmware. I had an older custom firmware before and now flashed to 2.17.401.1 RUU
Following this steps:

Type: fastboot oem lock (if your device is not relocked yet)
Type: fastboot oem rebootRUU and wait for device to reboot
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Sometimes flashing for the first time doesn't work, so flash firmware.zip again just to make sure.
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Type: fastboot reboot
Unlock your bootloader and flash custom recovery if you are going to use custom ROM.

Since that moment that my device is only booting to the white logo HTC screen (I did a lot of wiping before, not exactling knowing what I am doing)
  • -2)
I unlocked my device then again.
  • -3)
Then I flashed the recovery, taking this one -> openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img

-> fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
  • -4)
Rebooted Bootloader and entered Recovery

  • -5)
TWRM asks me for a password ???? "Please enter your Password"

  • -6)
I don't have any password? So i clicked on "Cancel"

  • -7)
Then i pushed my Revolution HD 41 zip onto my phone by

adb push revolution.zip /sdcard/
  • -8)
When I then want to flash it -> the following Error appears
]

Updating partition details....
E:unable to mount '/cache'
E:unable to mount '/cache'
E:unable to mount '/cache'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/revolution.zip'
Updating partition details
E:unable to mount '/cache'

Failed

I tried flashing the firmware and recovery a few times now, again and again, but it always gives me that error
What shall I do?

Also factory resets in wipe fail.

When I then cklick on Reboot in TWRP this message is shown ->
Your device does not appear to be rooted.
Install SuperSU now?
This will root your device.

So i "swipe to install" but nothing happens, and the phone is only rebooted to HTC logo. I can't use my phone any more?

How can that be? Please help me guy I know, you are the best as always

kind regards

ok try go to fastboot flash twrp 2.6.3.3
then erase cache from fastboot "fastboot erase cache"
reboot into recovery wipe all and flash rom and see how it goes !

if still samen, try rom adb sideload using Hasoon's AIO toolkit :

Download your ROM (in PC)
Open up Hasoons AIO toolkit and select sideload a ROM
The AIO will ask you to boot into recovery and hit sideload
On your One, go to advanced settings, sideload a ROM
Then you can navigate to the ROM on your PC with AIO and select it
It will sideload it for you and start to flash in TWRP (try differrent ROMs to be sure)

Let me know if that solved your issue
good luck

1- no need to relock bootloader when s-off; just reboot to ruu mode, and issue the "fastboot flash zip <name of firmware>.zip" TWICE

2- get TWRP from here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7 (do NOT use a download manager cause it will fail on that site, and verify MD5)

3- reboot to bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader

--> enter recovery

4- make sure the MD5 sum of the rom you downloaded is correct!! then either use adb sideload or adb push or OTG cable to get it to your phone.
