Talking Quick question for those who may have rooted with Casual

I just have a quick question for those of you that have rooted with Casual, or those who know about it.

If I were to use Casual to make my phone more awesome, it'll enable me to flash custom roms, right? (After I install a custom recovery, that is (which I may do through Odin since it seems Casual is kind of hit and miss when installing recoveries))

Sorry for the noob question, I've never had to deal with rooting an S3 before, and had only done my Thunderbolt back when I got it shortly after release. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

Yes, if you're on 4.1.2. But If you updated to 4.3 you can only root. thats it.

Cool, thank you both . I knew it could root, but I wasn't sure if it also completely unlocked the bootloader.

Actually, I'm trying to get ready in case my phone tries to force me into the 4.3 update.

As long as you're on 4.1.2 or older then use Casual and have at it.
