... it's not the weak signal. When I was at home (the green signal part), my phone dropped 10% with barely 6 minutes of screen time.

What's going on here? A big part why I moved to the Note 3 was its battery life. Thanks.

Welcome in the club

HELD AWAKE > AndroidOS is awake....no deepsleep!!!
It called AndroidOS Bug and / or Google play services Bug.
Please search for it, and you'll find the answer.

No really solution about this s h i t:-/
Just temporally solutions they can help until the bug comes again and keep system awake

Check this :

The Note 3 battery and device is better than the note 2.
i have both. but the note 2 running on 4.1.2 w/o a bug, the Note 3 with MJ7 and only with the latest google service update have a bug that keep the phone awake. not the whole time....but it comes and goes.

Thanks man. Looks like it'll be a long wait till Samsung's next update.

Fault is not by Samsung, because Nexus and HTC have the same bugs in firmware 4.3

Google make this s h i t Update.
Something small service keep the phone sometimes awake.

No fix until now!

I try since few days this, and looks much better.

All Location Settings to OFF if you don't need it.

Also turn off backup, auto backoff (cloud), Sync, auto network time&timezone, and under Google Settings turn off Location.
SM-N9005 International Galaxy Note 3, DBT NB7 Stock Unrooted.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

The simplest solutions are often the cleverest. They are also usually wrong.
