Default So what's with this ANT app?

Where did it come from and how the hell did it get on my phone?

It's mostly for wearable tech like Galaxy Gear and is basically battery friendly bluetooth. The last system update enabled the feature.

Default What I've been wanting on a phone for two years

http://www.thisisant.com/

That link should explain on what it is best. Basic explanation is the ability to add external sensors and communicate with certain products/apps at ultra low power requirements. Way lower (years compared to hours) than Bluetooth LE. It's pretty much a health and fitness standard and I'm very happy to have now. Now I can use my Endomondo App with my ANT+ enabled heart rate monitor. Cheers!

I have no problem with apps unless they get automatically installed with no uninstall function....
