Default [Q] how to mod CWM to add touch support?

hi everyone,

this device is Craig CMP741D w/RK2918 chipset.

I am trying to port Ubuntu touch onto it using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2318728

it uses CWM to load Ubuntu from .zip and the issue I am having is that when it boots into CWM I have no touch control so I cant navigate to be able to install the .zip needed.

I have another CWM recovery version that works on this device but not for this purpose so I would like to know if it is possible to use some code from the working CWM to make the non working one work and how to do this?

thanks

Does the device have physical volume buttons on it? I know some devices allow you to navigate using volume, home/power ect ect?
