[Q] Installing new ROM on Encrypted Phone

Some info..

I used Ketan's rom for note and browsed the files for Cache, recovery and all I see is they are empty even after flashing multiple times.. and when I change the permissions, they dont get changed on the Cache/recovery.. neither I can mount them..

I am trying to see If I can access the folders using Ubuntu on VMware player.. or atleast format the int SD card..

I am struggling and dont want any one else to struggle.. I want to access the internal SD card and Format it completely.. and reinstall the Android Rom with repartitioning.. (My plan for now)
