I see what you are saying about the corners but remember that the size of the device makes it unlikely to fall directly onto a corner under most circumstances.

Ask anyone here whether he has EVER had (and used!, letting it rot in a closet doesn't count) a mobile device for "many, many years".

2-3 years MAXIMUM, then you will inevitably regard the N7 as old and slow, screen not good enough anymore etc.

Perhaps you are one of these people who swear eternal loyalty when marrying and actually believe it LOL

I use the devicewear brand case on Amazon. It's on the pricy side ($25) but it's also great and the reviews reflect that well. Check out it. Devicewear got their name making ipad cases. If it can please the Apple crowd you can be pretty sure it's up to snuff in terms of looks and efficacy.
