Hello - I have a rooted Note 2 that was sitting at the initial boot screen ("Samsung Galaxy Note II" on a black background) this morning. I can get into download only, no recovery. I was trying several things per a few posts but with nothing working I decided to try to bring it back to stock using Odin. That too failed. I was an idiot and flashed the boot.tar, bootloader.tar, and recovery.tar from this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...38&postcount=6). It did not fix my recovery issue but it did charge the initial boot screen to include "GT-N7100".
Can I use Odin to put back the original boot screen? I've looked for another bootloader.tar to flash in Odin but cannot find anything. I took the sboot.bin and tz.img from an image with a lock bootloader (CI605_I605VRLJB_I605VRALJB_CL414933_HWID04_HW-Rev0406_low_ship_user.tar.md5) put them in a .tar and tried to flash that but it failed.
I now have a "CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (2 counts)" in ODIN Mode.
