I didn't use the 2.08 RUU that's listed there because I didn't think I'd need it. I unlocked my phone, signed my name in blood on the warranty loss contracts, and sent over the su-18.104.22.168.zip and the recovery.img. At first I used the recovery that JTNiggle had and encountered the error. Then I renamed TWRP's updated recovery for the CDMA Evo 3D to recovery.img and sent it over with adb. Again, same error. Then I sent over the un-renamed updated TWRP recovery and tried installing that, and again, same error.
The error in question:
