Default Can't install Amazon app store.

I am not able to click on Install button. The cancel button works just fine, I see this was mentioned earlier with a different apk. app. Anyone know how I can get this to install?

Thanks!

Which app do you mean?
Can't find "amazon app store" so be more specific.

Did you activate under "Security > Unknown Sources" ? And got the apk. from the amazon website?
It worked for me this way.

Do you use applications like screen adjuster ? most apllications that can calibrate the screen, colors, brightness, contrast ... block installation...

Agreed this is the way to install it. Make sure you have allow unknown sources activated then from any browser navigate to Amazon.com Go to the app store section from there you will see the link to download and install the Amazon App Store app. You should see the download progress in your notification area and also can start the install from your pull down notification bar.

Had the exact same problem as OP. Disabled Screen Adjuster and installer works.

Other than that, it all works well enough. Because it has access to the Google Play Store, any app you may want to install on the G Pad is easily accessible Ė about a million of them. The main weakness of the Kindle Fire HDX is app selection. Because Amazon chooses to only let its tablet access its own Amazon Appstore, there is a much smaller selection of games and software available. This isnít the case with the G Pad. It can run any Android app.

Psst, try not to drag up dead/resolved topics. It's bad forum etiquette.
