Question [Q] TF300T SD card formats supported

Hello all,

Hopefully this is the right forum for this question.

After much searching I am unable to find a definitive answer to this.

I recently put the latest nightly omnirom on my Asus Transformer TF300T (omni-4.4.2-20140104-tf300t-NIGHTLY) and noticed that my NTFS formatted 64GB micro SD card no longer works and is picked up as blank and needs formatting when selected in the file manager.
No problem, I guess there just isn't NTFS support in the kernel yet.

So, my question is, can I re-format the card to EXT3 or EXT4 and be able to use it in omnirom?

Thanks.

I hv alternative solution for u.
Use fat32 formatter to format ur 64gb.
My notebook can use it, my camera hv emergency card... and my phone is happy.

Yeah I know most things work with fat32, however if you want files larger than 4gb (had movies etc) fat32 won't cut it unfortunately.
I have just tried formatting my 32gb and 64gb to fat32 but the still don't pick up, yet it tells me when I eject them there ejected?
Weird, as both cards worked as fat32 and NTFS under the stock kernel and cromix.
I know this is early days so I'm hopeful it will get there, to be honest I'm over the moon that omni even exists for the tf300t as Asus appear to have ditched it.
I'm going to try them in ext3 & 4 next to see if that works.
