Hi Guys,

currently I use a 16 GB SDHC memory card and a 32 GB SDHC memory card in my smartphones (U8800 and E986) and I have a question about the file system of the external GB SDHC memory cards in smartphones. Is it possible, to use a file system like ext2 instead of VFAT or instead of exFAT? VFAT has a lot of unused space and I see some advantages, when I use SDHC memory cards with e.g. ext2 or ext4 file system. Is Android able to read data from an ext2 file system?

What do you think?

Many thanks in advance,

Ponder

Exclamation hi
you cannot use ext2/3/4 format unless you are using link2sd app and a memory mod script to extend or increase your internal memory to external memory
